The Benefits of Essential Oils & How to Use Them – PART 1

Hey Honeys,

So glad you’re here👋🏾!

Let’s start this 2-Part Series on The Benefits of Essential Oils

The use of essential oils started gaining popularity less than 15 years ago and today our soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, facial creams, serums, lip balms, and even hand sanitizers (let’s try to kill covid-19 pls) are infused with essential oils. You can also buy them on their own and create your #DIYProducts at home.

They are highly concentrated hydrophobic (dislike water) liquid containing volatile chemical compounds from plants. Each oil can contains over 100 different chemical compounds.

Since we’ve realized that “we’ve been gettin’ played” by the big companies selling us products full of harmful chemicals, the use of essential oils has been life-changing for many. Today, all of my skincare, body care, and cleaning products are homemade or infused with essentials oils.

Pharmaceutical companies create drugs to relieve the symptoms of illness without getting into the cause of the illness itself. They often create drugs base on analogs of plants. Analog is something that is similar to something else. Therefore, synthetic drugs can have similar molecular structures to chemical compounds found in nature. That’s because they can’t put a patent on plants (because GOD already has them patented 😉).

To give you a simple example, when you have a headache, you usually take an aspirin. The aspirin structure contains the analog of willow bark. When you study both structures, you see their resemblances (See below).

The Chemical Equation 🧪

When willow bark is ingested, it is converted to salicylic acid. Acetylation is the reaction in which an acetyl group is added (in fuchsia) which occurs in the laboratory. (Unfortunately, the salicylic acid in your facial cleanser is also made in laboratories).

Essential oils, on the other hand, address the problem and symptoms of inflammation and some illness (let’s speak in general because I am not a doctor). Essential oils are so small and effective that they are able to cross the brain-blood barrier (in less than 30 seconds) affecting the body at the cellular level. The components of the oil are so congruent with our body that they bind to receptors and interact with our cells perfectly.

All problems in the body are not always physical. There are some physical illnesses that are spiritually and emotionally based. If you suffer trauma (conscious or unconscious) years ago, your limbic brain can store and transfer that trauma to another part of your body (i.e. your stomach, your liver). The fragrance of essentials oils goes to the limbic brain where we store our unsolved emotions, our memories, and even our motivation.

ALL THAT TO SAY (as I’m removing my lab coat 👩🏾‍🔬), we need to go back to nature and use what God has created, designed, and put on this earth since these compounds were made for our bodies.

Matthew 2-11 “On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”

There’s a reason why the magi brought frankincense oil to baby Jesus when he was born. In the bible, it says that frankincense was as valuable as gold! Newborns and kings were anointed with frankincense oil.

Jesus was offered myrrh oil a few times in his life. The first time was when the magi brought it to his manger at his birth. Another time is when the woman cleaned his feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair; the oil mix with perfume she poured on his feet contained myrrh (Luke 7:37-38). The last time is when they offer him wine on the cross before his crucifixion, there was myrrh in the wine.

Throw away your Listerine mouth wash… I mean, it was initially created to wash floors and treat gonorrhea anyways 🤢…

  • Rub 1-2 drops directly on your skin
  • Rub in your hands and inhale

When you’re contracting your muscles during a workout, it increases the blood lactate levels in your muscle cells. Why is this important? After a few repetitions, you will no longer be able to contract your muscles due to the accumulation of lactic acid in your muscle cells.

When you inhale peppermint oil, it increases oxygen concentration by triggering the opening of the airway in your lungs, and oxygen is delivered to your muscle cells. As a result, it helps decrease the blood lactate level.

So, peppermint oil will help you achieve a few more reps from the increase in oxygen and slowing down the lactate accumulation.

It is said that your grip strength will increase by approximately 35%!

I hope you got some great ideas for product recipes you can make at home. Now, get you some essential oils to improve your physical and mental health!

Try this if it’s your first time diluting essential oils; 1 oz = 30 ml for 1 every drop of oil

If you have already used the above essentials oils, it’s possible that you’ve experienced different benefits than what I’ve listed. Because one, there are so many benefits for each oil, and two, essential oils don’t affect two people the same way.

Based on quantum physics, matter and energy are interchangeable which makes essentials oils filled with numerous possibilities that can be manifested differently from person to person based on their personal intentions (it matches your vibe). The direct access of the aromatic compounds of the oils into the limbic system influence the manifestation of mind-body healing. (We want HEALING! 🎇🎇🎇)

And guess what!? Prayers and essential oils work very well together!

I’m sure you’ve heard not to ingest essential oils. But guess what they use to flavor food (aka food flavoring) at your local grocery store… ESSENTIAL OILS (with some essential oils being made synthetically to save money!) But please do your research.

I’ve ingest essential oils and I’m still here, alive and well #ThankYouGod

Just don’t forget to dilute the oils! ALWAYS DILUTE THEM! Every drop is highly concentrated and potent. Don’t you DARE drink the oils straight out the bottle and hope God will make a miracle in your life 🙄!

It may not be safe to ingest essential oils depending on the quality of the oils you purchased. Unfortunately, not all essentials oils are made the same and some are blends of natural and synthetic oils.

Because oils are volatile, the best way to store them is in your refrigerator. Your DIY products should also be stored in your fridge.

Keep your products in dark glass containers because it blocks the light. Light can damage the structure of the compounds in your products. Vitamins, for example, have highly sensitive structures that can be destroyed by light, heat, and even air.

I personally stand by ORGANIXX for all essential oils and some of my supplements. I’ve been using them for the past 3 years. I wouldn’t recommend anything that I haven’t tried and loved to you!

I was just searching for this info for some time. After six hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your website. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this type of informative sites in top of the list. Usually the top sites are full of garbage.
